One of Mrs. Sailer's 6th grade students, Chris Visconsi, is related to Tom Bancroft.  Chris arranged it so that his art class and one other of Mrs. Beatman's 6th grade classes face-timed with his uncle.  Tom Bancroft has over 20 years of experience in the animation industry, most of those years working with Walt Disney feature presentations.  He led the student's in drawing Simba, which he was involved in drawing at Disney and also answered lots of questions about his life and work.  He has published several how-to books on creating characters, and has illustrated over 50 children's books.
